I went to Taiping with my parents during the Chinese New Year holidays to avoid the usual noisy firecrackers. This is my first time going out for an outing without Ting jie... It was a Sunday so we left right after my Sunday class. Ate lunch in Tesco and walked aroud a bit there. Bought some bread, ice cream and cup mee. Then went to Hotel Seri Malaysia. Checked in there and i had a swim in the pool. then we went out for dinner. Went to the night safari in the Taiping zoo. Ma thought some white birds on a tree were flowers ... hahaha... And papa can't really see... ( he memang pun rabun malam de ) so me and ma laughed at him lol waste of money nia... he can't see... The owls were really very wide awake at night... And ma so scared of snakes... Back at the hotel watched tv and then slept. Didn't sleep very well that night though.. dunno why... Went to the Lake Taiping and the gardens there. And also went to a cemetry of the british soldiers ... wah the cemetry very nicely kept lo... and all the tombstones all arranged neatly. they even planted beautiful little flowers in front of every tombstone... Oh yeah and had a very nice bowl of fish porridge for dinner. yummy yummy!

Hehe... that house practice really fun lor... I went there too early ( early by half an hour i think ) because i didn't listen during perhimpunan ( the guru besar says because it is exam time so start half an hour late, that is 5 o'clock - i went there at 4.30 ) haha... so i think so next time i will TRY to listen during perhimpunan. But still not all my fault mah the guru besar talk like old lady long, long, long winded. aiyo... so sienz. Anyway, i got there early so started reading biology under a tree alone ( Tianna and Eva is in the prefect's room and there is no one around )Wah... while the other days are so, so HOT...that day was so so windy! wah so syiok ar... Then Magesh and his group of boys are there already ( only about 8 of them i think...) Form 3 also only very few came. haha... and Magesh told his boys they can find a good place and sit down to do revision... Then i noticed our cikgu come already and Tianna and Eva came soon after that. Talked to our chem teacher. She is sooo nice! Then as usual, cikgu took attendance and also our ko-k card. And as usual also, we started pleading with cikgu so that we don't have to run or jump or do anything except talk and because the next day is exam, study under a tree. So, we went to the 100 meters track and everyone sat under the jambu tree. Cikgu looked at the jambus on the tree ( there is a lot and some very red too ) and wanted to petik. So at first we tried to petik from the ground using a stick. That didn't work so i clung to the fence and tried again. that didn't work either. Cikgu tried too but we didn't make any of the jambus fall. So i wen with Eva to fetch a chair and i stood on it this time i got quite a few but sadly, they all dropped to the ground before we could catch them. Cikgu has the same luck. Magesh and the guys arrived and cikgu asked one of the boys to help us but at last it ends up with the whole group of boys petik-ing the jambu. Jambu was everywhere on the ground. I must say, cikgu is the best, she can make the jambu drop and catch it at the same time. Soon we had so many jambus. The boys were all busy washing and eating the jambus. Me and Eva treid one too. It's quite sweet but a bit "siap". At last i brought 4 jambus home. This house practice really was the best house practice i've ever had! It was windy and not hot, we didn't have to run or jump, we had so much fun petik-ing the jambus, and we got to go home early.
